I was doing some sketches for inktober 2017, and one of the day's words was 'Run'. I like incorporating typography and lettering into my inktober drawings, and this one quickly seemed like it could be turn into an ambigram.

I worked on tracing the letters and characters in Illustrator, you can see a screen grab of the work here:
Though I'm pretty fluent in Adobe Illustrator, my main work is in After Effects, and some things are a bit more convenient for me to do in the software, things I find a bit more efficient than in illustrator. So for the masking and to make it look magnified, as well as adding noise, I worked in After Effects.
Added some touches in AE. Here's the final result, Square size:
